Ancilla atimovatae Y.I. Kantor, A.E. Fedosov, N.A. Puillandre & P. Bouchet, 2016

 

 

Locality : Madagascar. Lavanono. From local fishermen.
Remark :This is our former ventricosa f. fulva. We think this corresponds very well to the shells described as A.                               atimovatae. Accgd. to the authors the shells are hardly to distinguish from A. ventricosa, but the color of the                   shell A. atimovatae is slightly more saturated, also the primary callus on the spire whorls is thicker.
Size : 20 mm. mm 0.79 inch
